A Fresh Start

I'm inspired. Finally i have something to work for again. The truth is I have not been truly inspired since maybe high school or freshmen year of college. A good friend told me that everything starts at home. Growing up, learning to be a man, learning to think for yourself, it all starts at home. I have decided to take this philosophy into my art. It all starts with me, so I must do the best I can in every way i can. I must be patient, i must be hard working, and I must not call anything finished until I am completely happy with it. I have also learned that only so many things can be learned at a time. So let me start at the bottom, i promise to be humble and observant, diligent and more hard working than ever. Before i can make a statement, i must learn the language. Square one.

I have not forgotten about you my precious online journal. but i fear that i have not come up with anything spectacular as of yet. i am striving for nothing less than perfection. everything must be done with will all my skill and focus and i swear i do not care what my teachers say that photo realism is not important and that art is all about the message. to me it is also about the technique. if my projects are late then let them be late, but i swear they will only be complete when i am 100% satisfied.
